Pavarana Day Photo

Pavarana Day marks the end of the three-month Vassa (Rainy) season. It is an Amaravati tradition to have a photo taken of the entire sangha on this date, which nolens volens earmarks the halcyon transition from an extended interval of hushed self-examination to a cycle of [at least, relatively] more bustling sprightliness. Nonetheless, the metanoia sired by three months of introspection cannot be quashed so easily.
