Having been a "student" in the Humanistic Buddhist Monastic Life Program just a few short days ago, thereafter I was instantly transformed into a "teacher" for the Teen Humanistic Buddhist Life. This is a program that Fo Guang Shan is offering this summer to some teens from the USA, Canada, Spain and Portugal.
I am entrusted with teaching them about the basics of Buddhism and am having fun interacting with this 9-18 year olds. Yes, I know 9 years of age does not qualify one for adolescence; nonetheless, we are doing all we can to teach these very young people the Buddha Dharma.
