好馬不吃回頭草

Some colleagues had advised me not to resign from San Francisco Unified School District but merely to take a leave.

An old Chinese saying encapsulates well how I'd see returning to San Francisco Unified School District:

好馬不吃回頭草
(Hao3 ma3 bu4 chi1 hui2 tou2 cao3)

It means: A good horse will never return to its old barn.

If you can't read the Chinese but see only garbled/incorrect characters, select the Unicode UTF-8 option from the "Encoding" or "Character Encoding" command on your browser's "View" menu. If you don't see the Unicode UTF-8 option, select "More" and you'll find it on the drop-down menu.
